  They are real animal angels they homed my babies when i had no where else to take them and was in desperate need of a miracle...they are miracle workers with hearts of gold...thanks to them they found very loving and caring homes.

  It’s a moral dilemma… We adopted 2 beautiful kittens in January 2019. They’d already been sterilised which at less than 10 weeks old, we discovered, was too early. An early sterilization procedure compromises a kitten’s immature immune system and when it’s returned to the adoption home, it will likely pick up any contagious viruses from the other cats/kittens. A vet informed us, much to our disbelief, that the kittens were unlikely to survive the first year of their lives, given their history (early sterilisation + adoption home). Our first kitten died of feline leukemia virus in May and our second in September of FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). It's January and it still hurts. Ignoring all the costs that you will incur for the benefit of your terminally ill kitten, there are questions you have to be able to answer before adopting a kitten from Edenvale’s Cat Shack. Firstly, “Which would you prefer? Adopting a kitten from the Cat Shack knowing that you’re exposing yourself to likely heartbreak in the short-term, or not adopting a pet and leaving it to be euthanised prematurely and missing out on the few moments between now and its death?" Secondly, should you choose to adopt, ask "Are the people that are going to be falling in love with this animal strong enough to deal with its premature death?” It’s not easy, I've been through it and still don’t have the answers.

  My whole life I dreamt about owning my own cat. My experience at the Cat Shack was incredible. The love and sincerity from the Owner blew my mind, offering excellent advice on the perfect cat to suit your family, and the new family member 🐱or members 🐱🐱🐱🐱to your home. I believe we now have the perfect addition to our own family. We will continue to support the cat shack as you can buy all the kitties needs from them. I love my 小黑 Small Black that is what we named our beloved new family members. We should show our love and support to this dedicated lady as she is doing incredible work. All the best for 2020 Brenda and the Cat Shack you made me the happiest lady in the world 🌍
