::I took my 3 month old puppy to this vet because she wasn't eating or drinking and was vomiting the whole day. I asked the vet if she could have parvovirus and he said definitely not. The vet said she has a bug and he gave her injections. I asked if she needed oral antibiotics and he said no. 2 days later her condition hadn't changed so I phoned the vet and told them and they asked if i was giving her the antibiotics. I told them they never gave me any. I went to go fetch them. The next day her condition was even worse so i went for a second opinion. She was tested and was positive for parvovirus and we were told that the other vet should've tested for parvovirus before doing anything. I told the vet that he misdiagnosed and he started to blame me and saying it was my fault. The vet kept saying that he has video footage of me when I was at him and he would release it. I told him to please send it to me because it could help me show everyone that he is a liar and that his license should be taken away. He mentioned having an xray but he said it's not necessary unless she's still sick after 2 days. Now my puppy is fighting for her life because this vet didn't thing it was necessary to check for parvovirus.

::Vet was terrible, told us that the puppy didn't need any oral medication and only injections - when the puppy got worse we called the vet back and he told us we left the medicine behind (he never gave us any medicine) and then threatened to put our consultation on social media? The actual rooms were filthy and full of insects. Go somewhere else.

::We brought our animal in for an emergency after hours and the vet on call proceeded to do a terrible job stitching up the wound. He was lazy and had a disinterested attitude. We left feeling unsure and uncomfortable about whether out pet would be okay. After taking our pet for a second opinion at our usual vet the next morning, we were told that our animal had been practically butchered with stitches that did not even close the wound properly. Please donโt bring your animals here for emergencies. Rather take them to the 24h vet in Fourways.

::Our dog went missing and was brought in here by a caring passerby. We had called all the vets in the area with my sister calling Parklands again the following morning to be told no dog had been brought in. I then received a call at 2pm the following day to say they had the dog. We were away and my dad kindly drove out there to pick her up for us, only to be told we had to pay a boarding fee. My dad did not have his wallet on him, and after informing the vet that she was microchipped and why were we not called as she was brought in, were told they didnโt have equipment to scan her. I offered to settle on my return to JHB and eventually they let him take the dog, to which he said if he ever sees her again, heโll throw her out and send her to be put down at the SPCA. Clearly only interested in making money and not growing new customers which would have been easy to do had he handled the situation better.

::The doctor and his staff were so kind and reassured me of my puppy's well being. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable. We will definitely return if we have any more issues. Highly recommended.
