  You cannot miss this place if you come to Johannesburg. Very nice staff. Great place. Very cute and a beautiful place to stay.

  Beautiful setting coupled with fantastic food and great service, what more could you ask for. The decor is a tasteful upmarket African theme, with a very close eye on detail. Walking into the hotel is a journey, they've found a way to make you feel as though you're not in the city anymore. The service of their staff is absolutely impeccable. The quality of the food is top notch, they never disappoint me and I'm very hard to please. Their restaurant remains to be my favourite in Jhb to date.

  What a divine hidden gem! Had a delightful trio carpaccio starter (warthog, crocodile & ostrich) and oysters. Ostrich and pork belly as mains were delicious. Portions are small, so definitely add a side dish or two. Service is a bit slow, so expect a wait, but it's worth it. Would recommend a palette cleanser after the starters to improve the food experience. Rich complimentary dessert truffles were amazing. Live piano, antique decor and the fountain whispers make for a perfect romantic dining experience.
