  Stay away from them to save yourself a lot of frustration. And do not believe one single promise from their website or their fake reviews on sites like HelloPeter. Johannesburg Movers has literally broken every lovely promise they made on their website including: 1) TAKING UP TO A WEEK FOR FEEDBACK. If you don't continuously follow up and ask for feedback, you will wait even longer. 2) They don't inform you of EXTRA CHARGES. 3) They were SEVEN HOURS LATE on moving day - I wasted a full day of leave waiting for them. 4) They TRANSFER YOUR FURNITURE INTO ANOTHER TRUCK! Doubling your risk and they refused to cover for this even though they promise not to transfer your goods! I had damages because of this. 5) They DO NOT KEEP CLIENTS' BELONGINGS SEPARATE! They offloaded 2 of another person's belongings at my house and if I didn't say that it's not mine, I could easily have kept it! 6) They DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT to load heavy furniture. They tried about 5 times, unsuccessfully, to load my piano onto their truck, lifting it and almost letting it fall before trying again. 7) They are NOT CAREFUL with your furniture and cause DAMAGES. My brand new fridge has deep scratches and marks on both sides and the front! My Piano was also hit against something and has marks on the legs. Clearly marked "Fragile" boxes were handled with absolutely no care and stacked upon. 8) They DO NOT CARE ABOUT COMPLAINTS. I am still waiting on them for feedback after my complaints. They just don't even respond. After I followed up numerous times, they were busy "finding out the full details". 2 weeks have passed with no feedback from them. They refuse to give management's contact details.
