  World class conferencing center in terms of facilities, tech infrastructure and catering. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I took a walk in the evening after dinner. Such a serene, calming environment after a long day...strolling on the pedestrian walkway with the trees, other vegetation and ambient lighting.

  Attended a conference at Birchwood and was thoroughly impressed with the facilities and grounds. Even at their lowest price, the rooms are well equipped (mini-fridge, air-con, safe, TV, etc.) and cleaned daily. Staff is professional and helpful and never far away. Looking forward to my next event there, even if it is just for the beauty of walking through the grounds in the evening.

  The hotel has grown since my last visit. The room I slept in was big and comfortable with two beds in it. Rooms are very clean with all the necessities like two complimentary water and Coffee. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The place is so huge that the only way you can get along is by a golf car or staff moving you from one destination to another. There are different conference facilities on the premises for meetings etc. Trees and plants compliments the place very well. A mall with different shops is in a walking distance from the hotel. Free shuttle services on an hourly basis to take guests from the hotel to the airport and the airport to the hotel. Security at the hotel is very strict and professional. Free WiFi on the premises 24 hours. Breakfast cater for all people. All range of delicacy is been offered during the morning. Guest can also use the swimming pool during summer months.

  Attended a company function at the venue. Close to OR Tambo International airport, easily accessible and close to shopping malls, restaurants and highways. There is sufficient accommodation for visitors and guests at the hotel. The set-up is beautiful. The grounds are well-kept and laid out. Staff is helpful and efficient. The venue has many options for functions, both corporate and social. Recommended.

  I have visited Birchwood twice with work and I absolutely love the place. The facilities are great. The staff are helpful and friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. The food however is not that amazing but everything else makes up for it. Our meals were buffet meals thus I am referring to that when I speak of the food not all the restaurants on the venue. The place is huge and you can easily get lost but a simple phone call and a shuttle is at your door to take you to your destination.
