::TOP CARE AUTO CLINIC e-CAR MODDERFONTEIN SHOCKING SERVICE FROM THE OWNER GLEN. Please take informed decisions. We have an OLD 320D BMW that we are maintaining to the best of our ability. Took it for all services, and if the service light comes on, we take it for a service. We always took the Vehicle to TOP CARE AUTO CLINIC e-CAR MODDERFONTEIN and I was always surprised by the good service we received from Riaan. We took the car as the service light came on again to the same place, and gave them telephonic instruction, to do a Major Service and Fix Anything that needs to be fixed. Riaan advised us that some tie rods had to be replaced and the brakes etc etc. R23 000, 00 later the car came back. The next day it did not start. I had no option but to travel to MP with the car. The car would not start after the service and there come clouds of smoke out of the back. Took the car back, knowingly that I will receive excellent service as usual. TO MY SURPRISE! I spoke to the owner Glen, and he told me there is nothing wrong with the car, and it does start in the mornings, and it does not smoke. Now why on earth will I send the car back if that was not the problem? He started shouting at my drivers and told them I know nothing about cars, and I fail to understand what he is trying to tell me. 100% correct, I do not know anything about a car, not ever changed a tyre before in my life. As I am typing here, I am still even shocked that he can speak to any client the way he spoke to me, and my drivers. 2 Hours on the phone later, no solution. We collected the car and will take it to BMW to do a diagnostic, as Glen told me he did not do a diagnostic, and only does diagnostics on request, at a cost of R400,00. How did they know what had to be fixed on the car if they did not run a diagnostic?? People working for him started running around in circles, so frightened by the owner Glen shouting at them. I am sure it will not even take 2 hours to fix the car, of whatever must be fixed. Sadly so, I have spent R78 000,00 to date at this service station, as the service was excellent, up and until you have to deal with the owner Glen. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. HE WILL TELL YOU YOUR EYES ARE FOOLING YOU, THERE IS NO SMOKE AND THE CAR DOES START. BUT IT DOES NOT! TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! STAY FAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR AWAY. I Guess there is a first for everything. Whatever you do, do not ever deal with Glen at TOP CARE AUTO CLINIC e-CAR MODDERFONTEIN, you will be emotionally drained! No words to discribe how bad this mans service are!. How on earth are these people accredited to be AA "Quality Assured" and Member of RMI? One word. SHOCKING! NEVER EVER AGAIN.

::I was blindly quoted for an exploratory 2 hours of labour without their assessing the specific problem I had presented to them for resolution; which subsequently required only 10 minutes of attention at most. I eventually resolved the issue independently at 10% of their quoted cost.
