::Service is extremely poor at Design Quarter Their warehouse is the worst, they delivered a bed (Tompkins) with faults more than 3 times and I had to wait in between deliveries without a bed. I recently bought a different bed (the Bogard) and they did not specify delivery time. I hate Coricraft as a store, I love their products At this point I’m waiting for my couch, I hope there’ll be no problems. These people don’t care

::The service received from this store was the biggest “F*CK YOU” I’ve ever received from a company. They literally don’t give two hoots once they have your money. Disgusting service.

::I ordered a couch and ottoman set in January 2019 and was given a delivery date in March. 2019. After complications with the initial delivery, the couch was delivered late in March, but the ottoman did not arrive. I followed up and a week later was advised that they would be submitting a new order for the ottoman. After following up numerous times after that and getting a different story from different consultants and speaking to the Design Quarter store manager (who initially lied about the status of the ottoman), I was told that the ottoman would be completed on the 16 April. It is now the 25th April and I am still waiting for a delivery date for this ottoman or any communication about it. I have exhausted my options with regard to calling the call centre, emailing whatever mail addresses I could find and speaking to store consultants. All I want to know is when this ottoman is going to be delivered or alternatively when am I going to get my money back?

::Talk about BAD SERVICE Coricraft ? I went into your Fourways Crossing store to order my couch on 15 September. I applied for an account and went back the following weekend to finalise everything. When I went in I was approved for R4500 on my account and used it as a deposit towards the couch. I then asked if I needed to pay in anything extra towards a deposit and was told it was not necessary and production on my couch would commence (The lady who helped me denies this however I had my sister with me and confirmed with her that this was the case - I am not a dishonest person). I also explained that I was moving into a new flat and do not have a couch, the lady who helped me said that she would speak to the factory and ask them to push my order so I will get my couch in 3-4 weeks. My first bump in the road started when the amount was put through over a repayment period of 12 months – I had asked to do the repayment over 6 months. I was told that this would be rectified. I later found out by calling the card company that no one had corrected the repayment period on my account, I asked them to correct this. 3 weeks after I had made payment I found out the repayment period had not been corrected and had to contact the store again to get them to rectify this. This was very frustrating but I could have looked past this as I feel sometimes things like this happen. I thought all my worries were behind me until I was contacted last week Tuesday (9 October -3 weeks after finalising my order) only to be told that I still need to pay more towards my deposit before they will begin making my couch. No one bothered to contact me before then. After a lot of arguing, and back and forth, The lady who was handling my order then told me she would again request that they push my order so that it will be in Johannesburg by 25 October and it would be delivered to me within 72hours of that date (the same week according to her). She contacted the factory and told me everything had been sorted out, I just needed to pay an additional amount to make the deposit 50% of the order which I agreed to (I actually decided to just pay the rest of the outstanding amount to save myself the hassle). When I requested confirmation via email she began back tracking and telling me the only way it will be here by the 25th is if I pay in store that day (in the middle of a work day) – She had originally said that to me over the phone, I told her I could do an EFT and she said that was fine until I tried to get it in writing. We argued further over the phone and I paid the full amount via EFT later that day as she told me she would talk to the factory again. After having paid everything in full the lady handling my order then came back to me that Friday (12 October) to say the couch will only be in Johannesburg on the 31st of October and that is not even taking into consideration the delivery time. Needless to say I was very annoyed at that point. Since then she has not confirmed dates with me despite me sending her multiple emails, I feel as though I am now being ignored as I made the mistake of paying in full for my couch. I am so frustrated that I am considering cancelling my order despite the 10% penalty. All I want is for my couch to be delivered to me the week of the 25th of October as promised to me with out any further hassle. The amount of calls and emails that have taken place for me only to be messed around even more so than I already have been is crazy.

::Beautiful furniture and the store is well laid out. Unfortunately after sale service is not high on the priority list here. Several phone calls and visits to the store and my complaint from April 2016 still not resolved, without a word or comment from the store manager. Warehouse not much help either. I really did not expect such poor customer service from Coricraft considering the price of the furniture you buy.
