  Nope this shot went through the church and killed the preacher. Shop attendants are too busy with their personal stuff too assist clients I walked in there with a poor man's budget of R5000.00 having checked their website. Nobody greeted me, I helped myself, walked all the aisles, collected a nice stack of stuff and quite a minutes later walked out empty handed. Oh there was one other client in the shop. The only person who made eye contact was the lady in the office who was on the phone the whole time. Hell they buzzed me in and buzzed me out so they definitely knew I was there. No problem the opposition a few clicks north had everything and cheaper as well. I even broke the bank and bought a R25k Scope. I'm sure you all know of the guy who walked in to buy tampons and walk out with half the shop. Management buy your personnel some glasses or replace with people half the age. The name of the game is client service, that's the guy who is paying for the salaries and overheads, telephone and ohhh yes the bottom line, i.e PROFITS Nice book collection btw ...

  I visited 2 gun stores today Zimbi being the 2nd one. The employees at 1st store were arrogant and rude and the whole experience was unpleasant. I then went to Zimbi where I was quickly assisted by Anton who was very professional, friendly and answered all of my questions. I also found their prices to be quite good and competitive compared to the other stores in the area. Would really suggest buying at them! I look forward to doing business here in the future.

  Friendly service as usual. Not always competitive on their prices, but some items on special are definitely worth the while. Ammunition prices are in line with other shops, but they have the best service with it. Thank you gentleman for the great service. Will see you again soon.

  I phoned three times to inquire over a special they were running on the Girsan pistol. I was told by Pierre on the Saturday that they were already sold out but that he would call the supplier and see if they could get another for me, which I of course really appreciated that they were willing to go the extra mile. I called the Monday morning just after 9 again and spoke to Anton who also promised me that he would follow up and let me know later the day as he seemed to not have been informed of my inquiry by Pierre. I called again at around 14h00 the same Monday and I cannot recall who I spoke to, but I left all of my details again and was told someone would get back to me. It's now Wednesday and I still have not received any feedback. I finally gave up and went to a competitor who sold me a Glock. I'm not angry, just disappointed because I have always only heard good things of Zimbi and really wanted to do business with them. Also reading the reviews here the bad service seems to be the exception rather than the rule. Perhaps in the future I will buy ammo or another firearm from them and get to experience the superior customer service everyone else is raving about. EDIT: Alan got back to me yesterday and apologized for the mishap. They could still get me the firearm for only 150 more than advertised. Still an amazing deal but I have unfortunately already made another purchase. But taking the time to respond shows their commitment to good customer service.
