We waited an hour and a half for three salads and three sandwiches with no acknowledgement from the staff. When we got a manager over, forty minutes in, they assured us the food was being played and it would be out in five minutes. I ended up cancelling my own order as I felt I was let down by their level of professionalism and service.

The Vineyard Hotel is an example for hotels everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they make you feel at home. With a beautifully lush garden with a clear view of table mountain and free roaming tortoises and cute squirrels the Vineyard Hotel will make you feel like you've found your special little place of serenity and peace. The main building is a architectural mix of old colonial style and modern while the new appartements and spa/gym is very trendy modern. When eating breakfast you can expect things like raw honey straight from the honeycomb and homemade pastries. An all-over great experience.

We enjoy the Vineyard Hotel buffet breakfast. Beautiful gardens and amazing views of Table Mountain. Excellent service. Absolutely great buffet full breakfast or continental and also choice of Al la carte menu. Enjoy a short walk along the river and watch the squirrels in the trees. Children enjoy the tortoises roaming the gardens.

Beautiful venue with majestic views of the back of table mountain. Restaurant area open to the general public - often frequented by business people. Great lounge area with comfy, cozy chairs. Be sure to get a table outside, under the trees if the weather is great. If you have time - go for a walk through the lovely gardens, along the canal (a hidden gem, and safe as it’s still within the hotel’s grounds).
