Probably one if my favourite protea Hotel if not the best. When you're always on the road working in various provinces you need accommodation that is safe, clean, friendly, accommodating and excellent service and delicious food. IE a home away from home. This we find all at the Protea Ranch Hotel. Outstanding establishment at a very reasonable price. I always enjoy my stay at this establishment.

Some good human service. Nice to see the animals too. We called ahead and let them know of a late arrival. I have many nice thing to say of the staff. You know who you are. Thanks for being patient and accomodating when it was needed. Beat the drum.

Beautiful big clean rooms! Five star treatment by the staff and the food was also five star quality and quantity. I would recommend this place anytime!

We came as a family of 5. The staff is exceptional, they are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you need anything, they help out straight away. The place is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are beautiful too. Really really enjoyed my stay. Only reason for not giving a 5 star is the food and it almost made we want to give it a 3 star. The buffets are way too expensive for what is being offered, the normal menu is also a bit expensive for the quality of food. We landed up eating elsewhere for the rest of our stay. We ate at the a la Carter restaurant and the clubhouse and I wasn't impressed with either. However the overall stay there was still very amazing. The game drive was AMAZING, the horseriding was good. They do not have putt putt anymore or hiking trails. It was still a great holiday there though, thank you!

Probably the friendliest and most eager to help staff. The rooms are enormous and the bed... don't even get me started on how great that is. We ate the most divine meals at the restaurant every night. Great place to stay. I think the wines is priced a bit high but they do have good wines.
