If customers are looking for my delicious home made cakes - MOIST CHOC FUDGE CAKE, BAR ONE CAKE, MILKY BAR CAKE, CARROT CAKE, RED VELVET CAKE, GRENADILLA CAKE and the rest of my range that have been stocked at the shop for the last 10 years, I would like to inform my loyal followers that the new owner no longer wants to stock my range. My whole range is available at Superspar Hobart Bryanston. The containers of biscuits with the "Red lids" are also supplied by me so they are also available at Hobart

The Good: -The manager is always very aware of what's going on in his shop and he's always around or quick and easy to find, if he doesn't find you first. - From about 7pm they give 50% discount on daily baked items in the bakery like bread, bread rolls, pies and doughnuts. - Unlike every Spar that I know, that deliberately place their bread, milk and eggs strategically to force you to circumnavigate the entire store to get these items, this store has them all placed together between the entrance and the tills. The Bad: - I hate that Pick n Pay give you rand value discount towards your "next shop". Now I need to hold on to a slip that I didn't want to hold on to and then never get to claim the discount because I've either thrown the slip away or lost it or spilt something on it or forgotten it...but this is exactly what they hoping for... - Because of a badly designed parking lot, the entrance of the shop is about 30+ metres away from the nearest parking spot and every parking bay after that just gets further and further away. - I find the variety of items in certain sections to be very limited, specifically cereals, chocolates, biscuits and frozen food. - While I often find many shelves empty, certain shelves seem to be almost always empty like Oreos, Cadburys chocolates and Sta-Soft. Ironically these items all have a reasonably long shelf life, compared to milk for example, so I'm not sure what the problem is. - Despite the dedicated pet food store just 2 doors further down, they keep the most ridiculously extensive variety of pet food and products that stretches the length of an entire Isle but yet the Cereal aisle is so small and limited that they can only stock about 5 boxes of Fruit Loops at a time which is problematic for late shoppers. - They need to stagger the merchandisers working hours so that some work later because after the peak evening period the only evidence of many products existence is the shelf price in front of a bare shelf. - My last moan is about the bread slicer which isn't anywhere near the bakery where you need it. After you have walked in circles and then given up looking for it, you'll find it, after the tills, infront of the managers desk, crammed into the already narrow shop exit where there is nowhere to leave your trolley while you are slicing your bread, all while being stared at by the security guard, every exiting shopper, the people standing at the managers desk and the manager himself.
