  All the way from Nelspruit to Pretoria, staff greeted us friendly but doctor not so friendly. So I have to wait 3hours for my wife to do scan and have no idea where I am or where to go for this time. Absolutely no sympathy or empathy!!! This hospital will never see us again.

  This review is for East Rad Diagnostic Radiologists, not the Netcare Pretoria East Hospital; though, unfortunately, the service from East Rad affected the overall experience. The East Rad administrative staff should really go on an Effective Communications course and learn how to speak in full sentences. People who visit the Emergency rooms are under stress and most probably shocked. When people then speak to you like you are a criminal trying to dodge the co-payment in front of a waiting room full of people it is really humiliating. Had they clearly said to us that - after the x-ray was taken - we must go back to the admin desk to pay, we would have done so. However, we were taken back to the Emergency room to see the doctor. A nurse came to the emergency room and said we must go back to x-rays. Not why or who we should speak to. My husband - on a hospital bed by now - was then left in the passage when a very angry woman shouted across the waiting room that he must pay. She made a big drama of having to walk to him with a credit card machine for the payment. This is unacceptable behavior. It was humiliating and utterly unprofessional.

  We complain so easily but I must compliment ward 2 run, so competently by Dr Friend. The best nursing staff. Efficient and friendly. Wards are super clean. Just want to say thank you on behalf of all the patients that they diligently look after. 5 stars🙂

  Terrible Netcafe. But seems like that is the stature of the hospital. Food was off and terrible netcafe managers. They dont understand customer service
