  If there was a way of giving BestMed a rating of zero, i would have done that. THEY ARE A RUBBISH MEDICAL AID. During my pregnancy i have had to cover most of the costs from my own pocket because they don't pay most of the scans, and seeing that i had a risk pregnancy, i had to pay them myself. During the delivery, I was required to pay R21000 to the gynae, and when I claimed it back from the medical aid they only gsce me R5500. Apparently that is the maximum they pay for a c-section delivery across all the options. Which gynae will deliver a baby for R5500? What are these based in? They obviously could not answer me. I am ready to cancel my membership with them and move to other medical aids who care about their clients, i am still doing my research. BestMed is a RUBBISH medical aid.

  Bestmed approved my chronic medication application overnight. I had initially thought it would at least take a week to get my medication, but they did it very quickly. They really are Personally Yours!

  Don't waste your time, rather join a scheme that is there when you need them. On the surface Bestmed seems great, but when it comes to paying the big bills they are nowhere to be found. Discovery is much better

  Working here was great. The consultants were always on the phones while we were developing the system. Not sure what the other reviews were about however they did take really long to process an application internally. Even for an employee
