::My father almost lost his life at this hospital simply because of negligent staff. He had multiple unnecessary operations. We eventually moved my dad to Groote Schuur hospital in Cape town and the doctors there saved his life. An absolute disgrace of a hospital.

::Low quality which not equivalent to the money im paying , better frere hospital than this , I dont see why its said its life hospital while it looks like public hospital. My experience in this makes me wonder why I am paying so much in my medical aid whilst I receive poor service, yesterday(18/07/2018) my bed was not even freshened. This hospital can just be converted to a public hospital. Loud TV ...where are the Earphones for patients even if they are made to.pay for it, no remote controls , noisy, bathrooms not very clean, not enough parking space, no drip stands , this is not fair at all

::Decent service it could be better however. Parking is sometimes a issue

::Entire experience felt like some monetary transaction. I didnt know I'd be admitted when I was referred to the specialist here, so I didn't have any of my things with. No updates. No soap. Endured night of tv volume from other patients, including wardmate. Don't the earphone system apply in this "life" hospital. Spinning headache brought me here, and this noise wasn't kind to me. I'm done with this hospital. A few registered nurses tried to calm and reassure the situation. I am done.

::I was booked in for a biopsy, authority given the day before. When I arrived, there was no bed available. I was eventually put into a room next to a person whom I was told was 40 years old. This person screamed non stop for an hour "because she wanted her mother" I asked to be moved into another room after the biopsy. They moved me. Then they moved the screaming woman into the same ward. When I asked a nurse to try to quieten her she reacted very poorly and did nothing about it. The night staff bang cupboard doors and speak loudly all night. They have no concern or concept of silence. At 3.30 am a nurse noisily opened the door to my room and pulled the curtain open. I asked her what she was doing in my room, she said she came to put a hospital card the room. I asked her what the time was and who she woke me up. She said she didn't wake me up. She obviously can't understand that entering someone's room noisily at 3,30 am will wake them up. At 5 o clock the Red Alert Cleaner came banging into the room to empty the dust bin. The screaming started again at 5.......... The only positive thing was the food which was good. What a terrible experience
