I was admitted to ward 595 twice in the last 7 months and have had excellent service all the time. The staff really made an effort to make my stay there as comfortable as possible. A special thanks to Dr Mabuza and his colleagues and all the nurses. Well done to all.

My visit to this hospital was due to my father's admission to Ward 467 because of cardial problems. He was treated & came back home stronger than he was. He also said that the staff & professionals that handled him were very good. The parking on Floor P3 is a bit cramped but the movement of vehicles is not bad when visiting hours (15:00 - 17:00) are over, thanks to the car guards that help control the movement of vehicles. The hospital is also clean & has strict hygiene standards, like sanitising hands when entering & exiting wards. Overall, it is a good place that minimises any bad experiences.

My mom passed away in that hospital. We were assured that there were specialists therr what we saw was trainees... You ask a question they don't know.. Everyday we went we saw a new doctor. The nurses were very nice though very caring.

I was not impressed at all with the level of service there. The nurses I came across in the Maternity Casualty Ward were pretty much rude without reason. I noticed how badly the foreign nationals were treated and it didn't sit well with me. The nurses were pretty much nicer to the patients that were not of colour which made me quickly figure out the order of how things are run here. They have truly made me reconsider getting my medical aid back. Well Done ladies/gents for being inconsiderate, impatient, careless and rude!!
