::When I come home to SA from Ireland that's the first place I go to and have for many years. Food fresh and tasty, staff friendly always with a smile. I always go and sit under the olive trees wish they were on a Greek Island can just dream that the turqiose aqua sea was lapping up to the tables . Only wish. Have good specials .Next time 2019 will try their breakfast

::We enjoy having a light lunch at Cafenio. The atmosphere under the trees is pleasant and the food is consistently good. The service is friendly and efficient.

::Went to Cafenio today for a quick bite to eat during lunch. My friends and I decided to order "toasties". My friend asked the waiter if the cheese was processed (like those slices which come in plastic packets). The waiter, who was very kind, informed us that it was not. Next minute, the owner/floor manager comes over with the worst tone and attitude. I can honestly say I have never seen an owner talk to a customer in that manner, and I have worked in the food and service industry before. The owner stomped to our table and said "You're asking about the cheese. It's Cheddar, OBVIOUSLY it's processed," which she said in the most disrespectful and angry tone, whilst simultaneously rolling her eyes. Her demeanour and the manner in which she spoke to us was appalling. Safe to say I won't be going here again, as that was an unnecessary reaction to the most simple question. Thank you to the waiter and Jess for at least showing us some respect and kindness. I won't recommend this place to anybody after my experience today.
