  Awesome Whippy, very uniquely located, close to shopping location, and the Hartenbos beach front and Waterfront.

  Service was mediocre. Wimpy food as per the standard Wimpy chain. Parking not great. Very busy corner at Hartenbos entry road. No great sea views. I suppose its good for fast food grab and run, or quick business breakfast coffee.

  The wait to be served was very long. The waitress placed my son's order incorrectly and when we pointed this out, at first she argued that it was what we had said until she realized that it was her mistake. This meant that my son had to wait even longer for his correct order to be brought to the table. The food itself was very disappointing. Everything was tasteless which was a huge disappointment since my family and I love Wimpy's food normally. The waitress claimed that the steak is grilled in a BBQ marinade sauce but it seemed as if the sauce was spooned onto the steak only once plated, the same for the wings ☹️

  I love Wimpy's menu because it has a wide variety of tasty food and the prices are reasonable. But the only problem I have, is the service. Or should I say, lack there of. It has happened more than once that we arrive an hour/ 40 minutes before closing time but then get refused service at the door. A waiter will stop us and not even greet, but instead start out with "We are closed, only takeaways." So we agree to takeaways and ask if we can sit down for a milkshake while we wait. The answer; "No milkshakes. The machine has been turned off and is being cleaned." An hour before closing time. One time we were even refused takeaways. The attitude of the staff also bothered us. Atleast be friendly. This is really off putting and we have avoided going there again. Which is a shame because the food is good.

  Nice place to eat something 🤙 😏. Many options, they also have vegetarian 🥗.
