::Ntombi the lady with the red jacket was great and very helpful. She assisted me outside the door of the consulate today, and liaised with her supervisor on the inside to explain my situation. She showed great leadership skills in resolving my issue. In the end I was able to get my passport back today ( after only 2 days ) as I am flying overseas tonight. Excellent service.

::My 7.45 appointment was such a pleasure. Staff incredibly efficient. I listened to instructions and questions and even got smiles from a few staff. I suggest you arrive at least half an hour early. Park in Sandton City parking and walk across the road as there is no parking on site. There were about 20 people waiting for the 7.30 and 7.45 slots. Staff came outside and put us into rows according to your time slot, another staff member checks your pic and confirmation form. Thereafter you enter the security search section. You can take your cell, it MUST be turned off. If you have anything else (umbrella, computer, iPad, connections, memory sticks etc), they give you a token to collect your belongings on your way out. Thereafter you enter another building and in sequence, you get called to different tellers, passport and photo check, then fingerprint, then interview. All these staff are friendly. Interviewer asks relevant questions, then tells you that your visa is either approved or declined. She speaks nice and clearly and has a lovely smile. Answer all questions clearly and I was out of there in 45 minutes. Nice aircon building and I took in a small bottle of water, no problem, I read a few reviews before I went, and some reviews made me quite nervous. I had no reason to be. Thanks to all the staff this morning, I can highly recommend a good, professional pleasant experience. Thank you.

::These people are so kind and helpful. I really can't find anything "bad" to say about my experience. Just one tip is to be a bit early for your appointment because the later on in the day your appointment is the longer the line tend to be.

::My visit during the Visa appointment was very a quick and efficient experience. The staff are polite and friendly. If all your documents etc. are sufficient the entire process goes quickly. Be sure to follow all instructions to the letter and be open and honest in your actual interview. Leave your electronics at home. Phones may be deposited safely at security. They are quite busy so make sure to be there before your appointment and prepared to stand in queue. Be sure to apply online well before your intended travel dates as appointments dates are not early. A slot opened up and I could move my appointment earlier on the web portal after payment.

::Quick and efficient, but not very well sign posted and a confusing process once inside. They could improve by providing a clear illustration of the process that needs to be followed. I recommend going at least 15 minutes early even if you have a scheduled appointment time.
