::So I am not the type person who usually gives out ratings to companies - too lazy I guess--but after the truly fabulous experience with them, especially during lockdown, I felt I owed them this comment. To anyone considering ordering food from them in this time- I highly highly recommend you do. We ordered lamb shanks for my wife's birthday, and I have to say it was quite probably the best I have had, or remember having. Whilst it is still not the same as sitting in a beautiful restaurant, they really went out of their way to provide an excellent experience. Thoroughly and whole heartedly recommended.

::When I first saw the menu, my heart dropped... The prices seemed outrageous! But a friend had suggested the Sagewood Cafe, and we stuck it out... And Boy oh boy was I glad we did! The food portions were outstanding and the flavours.... Oh man, the flavours... I have no hesitation recommending the Sagewood Cafe at all. Fantastic value for the money with exceptional food, both in quantity and quality. Try them, you wont be disappointed! Pics are of my wifes Pulled Pork Open Sandwich (half eaten by the time I got a photo!) and half of my Pulled Beef Open Sandwich. Awesome!

::Delightful hidden gem in Pietermaritzburg. A MUST visit if just for the Oreo Cheesecake and Carrot Cake! "Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend" is their motto. Most impressed with the Thai Green curry served in the most unusual way. A real treat for the tastebuds. Visually appealing presentation. Relaxed, warm, laid back atmosphere.

::Nice place and atmosphere. Our waitress was Princess she was like princess very patient to every request.. I ate Midlands beef it was cooked very well and also salmon sandwiches.
