  Located in the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, the Pick n Pay Waterfront was the only place in South Africa where I was able to find single-source Ethiopian coffee beans, Harrar or Yirgacheffe. Not at the specialty coffee section in the aisles, but at the inexpensive dessert bar! For spare change I got a cup of amazing coffee! I think the counter lady was amused by my excitement. The coffee was consistently great, sampled over repeated visits. Oh, there's a supermarket attached to the dessert bar :-)

  For the last two weeks the slicer in the bakery is not working. The staff don't seem to know what to do or how to correct this matter; they just keep accepting a lower standard, this is not acceptable.

  I always find the staff so rude here. Specifically the cashiers. They won't even look you in the eye and respond to a nice hi. This is very rare to find people like this in SA but here it's been like this Every time for more than a year now which is almost 10 visits for me. Do the cashiers hate their job so badly?

  Located in the V & A waterfront. On the same level as the parking, with ATMs for ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbank located nearby. Place gets very busy, so expect long ques. Prices and variety of good the same as most other Pick n Pays.
