::An absolutely fantastic time spent at Jan Smuts House. Beautiful well kept property. Lovey tea Garden and a huge lawned area to have a picnic and let the children play. If you are energetic there is a wonderful circular hike to go on and explore the property... Well worth it. 🙂 Fantastic helpful ladies in the Smuts 🏡

::This little place is a quaint, unique, and interesting visit. Lovely easy going walks around the area allow for an interesting exploratory excursion to find the burial memorial site of once South African president Jan Smuts.

::Was lots of fun went there with my dog! I took her for a walk, lovely path and then went to the restaurant next to the museum which was pet friendly! They even gave my dog some scrambled eggs for breakfast! Beautiful area loved it! Definitely will go back!

::It's an awesome hidden place, although there is very little signage (driving there you might get the feeling of being lost) once you get there you will be surprised with how much is hidden behind the trees. The is plenty of parking. The parking will cost you R10 at the entrance. There are restaurants, a museum, old stuff and more old stuff, a walking trail and many more relics. . I advise you read a bit before you rock up. - plenty of
