  Amazing venue for a wedding, breakaway or just some quality time with loved ones. Everything is clean and well kept. The views feed your soul. Had the best evening with Nici & Philip's wedding. Highly recommend a visit.

  What a lovely venue!! Had lunch there today. A buffet was served. A lovely selection of food from starters to dessert!! Priced very well. Service was very good too!! Definite recommendation!

  Cozy 2 bedroom chalet. Lovely restaurant and pub with a big selection of food. The sound of the river waterfall at night helping you fall asleep. Tall koppies to look at. Lovely large well kept gardens and trees. Helpful friendly staff. We'll be going there again!

  My Husband and I wanted to get away for a relaxing Christmas break. Our thoughts being a SPA resort and accompanying peace and tranquility that goes with it being just the thing. We were struck by the beauty of the resort as well as the green gardens which is certainly well kept. Christmas Lunch was indeed one of the highlights - the food was great and staff went out of their way to make the event special - certainly worth the price we paid. However there were two big disappointments we experienced. When making the reservation we specifically checked and confirmed the availability of a heated pool and were assured both a cold and heated pool is available. When arriving we found only cold pools available and one small heated Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi being mostly inaccessible to us as it was hijacked most of the time by kids using it as a splash pool - despite the strict time allocations advised on the notices. Beside the rules of the resort strictly communicating differently - guests were camping out with cooler boxes and playing loud Boom Box music around the Pool area regularly. Making it also difficult to relax in peace and quiet by the pool unless you were willing to be subjected to the loud, crude rap music being played at full volume. Although I fully understand the resort cannot control the behavior of the Guests - the problem I have is that even though addressing it with the staff more than ones - the situation still continued. My thinking is the resort has an obligation to their paying guests to make sure the atmosphere they advertise is what we get. As beautiful as the resort is I feel that we were cheated out of the experience depicted on the website and what we thought we were paying for. So - a beautiful resort it certainly is, but we certainly did not get the peace and quite we anticipated and paid for.

  A lovely country setting well out of Johannesburg. A good option for a work free and relaxed Christmas lunch. The buffet is extensive and will satisfy most tastes. The table settings were very well done reflecting the Christmas theme and the table service was excellent. The atmosphere was marred a little by music and a soloist that was much too loud and intrusive. The meal was good value given that it was Christmas day and a full staff was on duty.
