  I just come from the hospital after sitting on the bunk chair for two hours of poor service, I didn’t come to the hospital voluntarily, was referred to the hospital by Pelonomi hospital and made an appointment with a psychologist a week ago. When it was my turn for consultation I was told that the psychologist is not available I must come again next week without any written rescheduled appointment basically verbally, meaning still next week I’m going to be told to come the following week. So clearly patients aren’t really important in this matter, or was it because of my appearance???this is really frustrating! So clearly quality of service will never be the same in public hospitals. At the end of the day life goes on and same people who are not doing their joys accordingly are getting huge pay cheques, while the community suffers. I didn’t even bother to drop a complaint in the complain box, cos those comments never make it to management! Simply cos nobody cares! It’s sad that One should rather choose a private facility over a public one even if you cannot afford the service the only way to get helped. So my questions Are what purpose does it serve if the hospital can’t even help people, why are there even psychologists if they cannot attention to patients???? Why are we given false hope or even lied to??? Why can’t they be straight forward and tell a person sorry we can’t help, don’t waste your time by coming here??? So where does patients complain to and who can attend to matters such as mine???? What measures can be taken to correct such cases???
