::I booked on line as instructed. On the date I arrived an hour early. All communication going in was good. After about 15 minutes wait Romeo came and collected some of us. He battled to sign into the network BUT HE CHECKED other offices for a network that was on. Within the hour of arriving I was gone. All I need to do now is to find out whether my licence has arrived. Unluckily I can't get through on a telephone number. I will drive to them and prayerfully it will be there. Thank you Romeo and others for your help.

::Got exactly what I expected - nothing at all and no advice. I must book online, but of course, their site doesn't work and they close spontaneously on Saturday when they should be open. So sad that doing simple things in this country is such a nightmare. Other countries want what is best for their people.

::Long lines and bad service. People pushing in front of others in the ques and no one is here to make sure it doesn't happen. It's sad but it's our reality now I guess.

::I booked online, arrived a hour and a half prior to time of appointment, but stood in queue for approximately that period to make payment. Subsequent to appointment, stood another two- and- half hours in the queue for eye test. In summation, arrived at 11hrd30 and left at 16hrs45! So be warned, take along your picnic basket, it is an arduous stretch. South African citizens deserve better.

::Not a very pleasant visit. 99% of all the reviews are bad and negative, that means that the image of this department is just plain bad but the authorities still does nothing to uplift the place. They are very disorganised. There are 11 counters to serve the public but there are only a 1/3 operational at any given time. It is as if the personnel are on a go slow. Today I visited to do a change of ownership and change of my address, waited for two hours. I just left the premises and was driving away when I took a look at the papers and realised that my addresses had not been changed. I turned around to see the manager but was not there. I was referred to one of the supervisors who arranged that it be rectified. It is obvious that employies do not take pride in their task at hand. How about that for poor quality work. Will it get better, I don't think so. (37) Another very bad Government Department that refuses to better itself.
