  Has been my great dentist until she closed shop with no information. Reception just told me she is no longer here!! I had a quarterly appointment as well

  Dear Dr Pillay, I wanted to share my experience with your practice administrative staff as at today. I called your practice yesterday to book an appointment for Saturday, 14 July 2018 at 10:15. The appointment was promptly booked and I received a confirmatory sms. As at 9am this morning, I received a call from your admin staff who made all attempts, with great success, to cancel the appointment. The lady advised that you did not see new patients on Saturdays as new patients have a tendency not to attend appointments. I was then asked if I would be able to attend midweek. I advised the lady that on account of work commitments I could not. That being said, I was advised that I needed to pay a R 500.00 deposit to secure the appointment. I agreed to same and thereafter requested your banking details. The lady who assisted me did not make attempts to forward same to me, but rather suggested that we reschedule for the following Saturday as I had indicated to her that I had woken up with a fever blister and accordingly was of the view that you would not be able to proceed with treatment (to which she initially said I needn't worry about because it would have healed by Saturday). My feeling was that your staff had every intention to cancel the appointment without simply asserting the true facts of the matter, I.e perhaps Dr Pillay was simply unavailable on Saturday, for example. I personally requested the cancellation on account of the bad service I had received. I write this only on account of business reasons and the possibility that you as a good practitioner may be losing out on business as a result of unprofessional staff. Kind regards.

  A caring and understanding lady who cares for her patients well-being. If needed- she ensures her patients are on required anti-biotics to reduce pain before proceeding with any dental work.

  Dr Pillay was so gentle. I don't like the dentist but I like her. Definitely going back for my 6month cleaning. I didn't even feel her give me an injection today and was so shocked my tooth was already out and the treatment was over! Plus I only waited 15 minutes to see her when she was running late and they called me before to tell me she was late. I thought I had to wait for long but everything was sharp sharp

  An excellent dentist. Impressed by her professionalism and by the information and dental guidance given . Knowledgeable, handles the patient sensitively and with confidence . "The patient comes first!" Hyper conscious of hygiene. The healing environment created is comforting . Check out the excellent work she does on veneers !! A 2th Dr indeed!
