  Nice chilled environment ,lovely kind host spacious self catering rooms and dstv included easy drive via vaalbank suid road to maselspoort resort.

  Rooms are rustic but clean with all the basics needed. You wake up surrounded by the farm and its surroundings - even though it's not far town - peaceful and quiet. A great breakfast included!

  Thank you for our comfortable stay last night at Thorn Tree Lodge. The owner, Dollie, so friendly. The rooms warming up and welcoming us in the late cold afternoon. The beds crisply white and clean so comfortable. Thanks for going out of your way to serve us a hot meal, Dollie. We are grateful.

  This place is lovely. Spent an overnight here and it was perfect. Dollie is an amazing host and does all she can to make your stay comfortable. The day we arrived it was cold. She made sure we walked into a warm room. Food was homestyle cooking. We enjoyed every minute spent there.
