  Here is the problem with the world in a nutshell...I decide to make germination boxes and research standard sizes of wood....super so my measurements and research and drawing done and I go off to wood merchants who advertise the wood in standard sizes they supposed to be ie 38mmx38mm... based on this I buy screws and brackets etc etc tallying up to a not too small amount...on delivering I find wood to be 35mmx35mm... Now you may be thinking geez Andrew what's the big deal it's just 3mm that's not a huge distance in the grand scheme... well if any of you have read Ken Follett World without end, you get to realise that can ultimately lead to a great deal of loss of life of this were to happen on an important structure, not that mine doesn't have value or importance. It is not only the R68.52 rip off just for the wood never mind all the other goodies needed that no longer fit. Will the structure ultimately be strong and stable enough to do the task its built for... The guy at the store when told that's fraud...gets a little uppity and says well let's not go that far...well okay would stealing be to far...so why don't I pay everyone I owe 8% less every time and why don't I take 8% more all the time, why doesn't the doctor cure you 92% every time or the Taxi driver/airplane take you 92% of journey.... every 8% eats away at the moral/ethical fiber of society at our ultimate ability to grow crops, feed and sustain... put simply standard measurements are not as advertised
