Outside the arcade to the right as you exit some more amazing things but at better prices. Ask for Charles he is so helpful and always willing to source things for you of you can't find them on his table. Crn of Shortmarket street and Long st.

a good place to shop for a little treasure. some traders are more friendly than others. the friendliest ones were mikey and his mom maria. they are the standout traders with really fantastic antique jewelry. the woman whose shop is located on the bree street side should smile a little because she surely does not carry the worlds problems on her shoulders. as for the Greek guy nico, try telling the price you want so i could then make up my own mind, also some English lesson wouldn't go amiss. i liked it enough to return which is what i will do the next time in town. at least i know which ones to visit and which ones to avoid.

A cool place certainly worth checking out full of brick-a-brack and other wonders. I bought a couple of exceptionally cool vintage lighters here.

The arcade is a gem of a spot to buy various kinds of antiques. There are some stores that specialize in jewellery with a vast range of beautiful pieces on offer. There is a store specializing in militaria. Another store seems to have mainly old clothing. A couple of the stores are crammed so full of goods one needs to be very careful moving around inside them. I have not been inside all of the stores but those that I have visited I have found the staff or owners to be exceptionally friendly helpful and informative. Whether one is looking for a small gift or a high end piece of precious ceramics this is a good spot. It seems one can haggle a bit with some of the owners which is great.
