::I've been a loyal customer for many years as well as undying fan when it came to the risotto cheese balls and gingerbread tequila. Sadly the restaurants food has dropped below standard and my cravings had to find a new outlet... The poppers and cheese balls were not the same served with a tangy mayo sauce. Definitely not the best Mexican in town.

::Had a great time at the Fat Cactus Gardens. Great atmosphere (including lovely outdoor seating), tasty Tex-Mex food and margaritas, and friendly staff who are quick to take your order. This is a great casual dinner spot for a warm night!

::Only ever had drinks once here which doesn't make for enough of an experience to judge but I'd like to thank Brett for making breakfast service such a pleasure upon my second visit. Wanted coffee and then green tea but because the machine was down the manager took it upon himself to purchase coffee next door on the house to make up for its unavailability. Although I asked for it to be added to my bill he felt it was the least the restaurant could do. Awesome value for money with the breakfast, where you would pay twice as much for toast, eggs, bacon and the works elsewhere in the neighbourhood. Fat Cactus definitely knows how to do service and I'll probably be popping in again sometime! Thanks guys!

::This is our favorite Mexican restaurant go to. We absolutely love it here. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food never disappoints. The fat cactus is great for a really chilled and relaxing lunch or cocktails In the evening. It can get a little busy in the evening but it’s worth the wait as it has a really great Cape Town Vibe. Although it is best to book a table in the evening if you are going in a large group.
