  Some confusion over whether this is "Sunnyside Paint & Hardware", or "The Gateway" (Locksmiths). The outside signage shows the latter, but the inside of the shop is a bit of both. I went there specifically for a duplicate vehicle key. The shop is in an area of Sunnyside that feels slightly dodgy, but I had very good service. Using my existing (and only remaining!) car key, the resident locksmith (Oliver) was able to set me up with a duplicate transponder key for my VW Golf Mk 4 in just a few minutes. They can do either (1) a plain "icebreaker/laser" key that will unlock the door and steering only; (2) a key with a passive transponder chip that will also allow the vehicle to be started; or (3) a full OEM-lookalike key that will do all the above plus operate the remote alarm & central system. The visit was quick and painless, the key works perfectly and all of this was at a fraction of the cost and hassle of an OE key from a VW dealer. Recommended!
