  Poor management - on Friday 21.2.2020 we took our son out for his birthday. 20h30 movie fell within a load-shedding hour so we called ahead to find out if the movies would be effected. We were reassured that there will be no issues. We got there, stood in the self-serve queue for popcorn and drink, then we stood in the other queue to collect our order. When we got to the counter we were informed that the slush puppy's cannot be served and the soda machine wasn't working. But we can replace our order with water or ice tea. As we had no choice we opted to take the water and ice tea. When I asked for my change I was told 'What change we gave you water instead' - I asked if the price of water was the same as a coke and slush puppy - of course it wasn't but if I wanted a refund for the difference I had to to the other counter, cancel the full order, then go back to the self service counter, place a new order, then go back to the queue to collect. No manager in site. By then I was ready to use very bad language. I told the lady behind the counter that she needs to sort this our. I had to wait good 15 min for a manager to finally grace me with his presents and I had to go over the whole story with him. Why wasn't there a staff member at the self-serve counter advising us that the slush-puppy and soda machines are not working - don't order these items. Where were the managers? even the staff said that as soon as the generator failed ALL managers disappeared. Why - how many managers does it take to sort out the generator issue? Terrible experience with very expensive ticket prices. Will Not be going back.

  Great buzz. Helpful staff. Upstairs prestige area is comfortable and spacious. Perfect place to wait for your movie to start. Park at Checkers entrance.

  I'm a huge fan of the cinema prestige here. Granted it is quite pricey but I'm unable to watch a movie any other way. Lately the timely service has declined a bit but the staff is still quite friendly.

  They showcase all the latest blockbusters under one roof and on time. The self-help services save time and is convenient. Their cinemas are clean and comfortable I enjoy watching movies in the Cine Prestige. The service is of good quality and value for your money.

  Here is my thing. I have been to a lot of Sterkinekors and by far this is the best one. The service is amazing, and I feel equal to the stuff here. When it comes to the site itself, I think it is beautiful. The lighting and the amazing open spaces, make the place look huge. It is beautiful with a lot of options, from self-service to normal service. Although I have mostly been at Prestige, I got a chance to walk the site and experienced a lot of amazement. If you want to have a great time, watch film and enjoying the experience of cinema. This is the place to be, I have made it my home. And I come here from Pretoria, just to watch Films and have a lot of fun. Try it out. I approve. Because they have anything from a normal cinema to a kiddies cinema. 🙈🙈🙈🙈
