::Finding well preserved libraries is like finding a Unicorn - this neatly tucked away Norscot Manor Library bought much delight to my heart. The place was neat... lots of books of all sorts, different areas to sit it... the study area must be nice in summer , as for me in the middle of July I didnt last even 1 hour in that arctic study area it was freezing to the bone decided to leave. The design of this whole place is just a time piece that one wishes could remain this way , unfortunately all things are web based and the need for libraries is unfortunately becoming a thing of the ancient world. The gentle man at the reception was patient and kind. The only sad thing is there is no WiFi which is the reason most people go to a library to make use of the internet. And by the looks of it it’s been without WiFi for a long time. Otherwise lovely cozy maybe a bit spooky library in such a Magical setting , I’d come here just to Be by nature
