::I love many kinds of South African music and hoped to pick up a good selection in Cape Town. Like the rest of the world Cape Town is loosing it's record stores this was the only one I found. The staff were friendly and helpful but the stock was limited and although I found a few items I came out with much less than I had hoped for, it was more geared towards international pop rock and hiphop than home spun talent.

::Musica is sadly not what it once was. The huge selection in music from all over the world has been dwindled down to a bunch of highly overpriced Vinyls, a mediocre selection of loud, fancy looking but terrible speakers and a wide yet impressive amount of DVDs that I really still enjoy. Go to Musica to pick up a funny USB or an outdated movie poster but don't push your luck trying to find anything special or worthwhile. All that being said, the staff is friendly and they can order some stuff from other stores within a few days so they're not all that bad. A 3 star rating for all Musica stores is adequate in my mind because I have had some marvelous service in my years of being a customer, sadly the level of products has drastically declined.

::Great selection of blu rays, dvds, cd's and games. Lot's of electronics as well, but most are low quality, yet overpriced. Even media sold here is overpriced.

::Most of the things that are not music or game discs, are very bad quality. Never play a treasured vinyl on one of those USB record players. Get your gadgets from somewhere else. For games and music, it's quite good.
