We had an absolute amazing time at The Rand Club with the ever dazzling James Findlay and his team!!We didn't even have a planned tour of the library, but James took us in anyway and spent quite a bit of time telling our crew about the history of the building, and the most interesting of all was the windows with the astrological symbols, as well as the first english map. The decor makes one feel like you are most certainly Scarlet O' Hara in a scene from Gone With The Wind, makes one want to put on a ball room dress and go dancing in the ball room. The carpets are the original carpets with the actual Rand Club logo along with the fillegrie stair case!! I could go on and on, needless to say we will be back to experience more of the Longest Bar In Africa!! Thank you to James and his team for the restoration and upliftment of this exquisite building!!

I have purchased several pieces of original artwork and books from James Findlay. The service was exceptional and professional as were the products on offer. I can highly recommend a visit to his shop situated in the Rand Club.

James took on myself and dad for a few maintenance projects in the building. Awesome Environment and the building just smells of History. James has a awesome book store with a lot of history in itself too.
