::I was treated by Dr Paul Nel @ Intercare Irene on 30 March 2020 Dr Nel was arrogant and lacked manners in his approach. His lack of respect had me defending myself to him even though I was in state of weakness. He disregarded my background and current state of being unwell. The reception group and nursing sister was very friendly and provided me with the best possible care.

::I would like to thank Dr. Helen Bester for helping our little girl with stitches yesterday. She put our girl at ease and almost made her forget what the doctor was doing. I am so pleased that she was there. Thank you so so much. It really meant alot.

::Dr Helen Bester was beyond amazing with my little girl who needed stitches for the first time today, and in an uncomfortable place as well. Even though I was not able to be there myself, my husband would not stop empathizing how well she treated our little girl, and how amazing and professional she handled the situation. Thank you so very much!!

::I've been a diabetic for over 16 years, sufficed to say I've seen a couple of doctors in my years as a diabetic - not once have I come across such a problem. I made an appointment to renew my insulin prescription. The entire appointment took about 10 minutes and 5 of these 10 minutes were used by the doctor to tell me I am a liar. Charging patients R 480.00 for 10 minutes to tell them they are liars. I will be driving to Silver Lakes Intercare from here on out. 30kms extra but at least the staff don't question your agenda for making an appointment for your own health.

::I'm writing on behalf of a patient. After phoning the centre for 2 hours (8am - 10am ) there was no reply. When the patient decided to drive to the centre, she was met by an irate receptionist who shouted at her in front of a full waiting room stating that no "walk ins" are allowed. Thankfully her doctor came to her rescue and saw her immediately. It is such a pity that an efficient service is marred by the unmannered - after all the receptionist is the "face" of the practice and her ire with prospective patients denotes the tone of the facility.
