::I saw Dr. Pillay. She diagnosed me with an infected tooth & infection. She extracted the tooth. The anesthetic wore out within seconds of me leaving the surgery. I cried my way to the pharmacy for the antibiotics & painkillers. 5 days later, the extraction isn't healing, the antibiotics aren't working & the pain is so bad, I can't take care of my 2 year old daughter. I can't eat anything. I haven't enjoyed a single day of the festive season with my family. I don't know if the saying "goed koop is deur koop" applies here. I haven't the money to see another dentist at the moment. What a horrible time of year to experience this situation. Everyone's jolly & spending time with family & I'm stuck in excruciating pain. Dr. Pillay is friendly & lovely but I refuse to rate her professionalism. Something is definitely wrong here or with the way she did my extraction. Ouch! God help me!

::I have always been dental phobic but after i went to Dr Asmall 2017 all my fears were gone. Untill i went again monday 04 March,Dr Asmall was not there, the Female dentist was there.Dr Pillay. she injected me but i was not even numb. She extracted two of my teeth i was screaming and crying i was in so much pain, she did not stop. I was in pain whole week all to find out she left a piece of tooth in the hole. I had to go for an emergency help from another dentist in Newton park on Sunday.

::So no one likes to go to the dentist, right? Well if you have to go or need a check up, Dr MGH Asmall and Associates, is the place to go! I had to have a root canal, which was further complicated by infection, that had not cleared completely as expected. My experience was not at all what I had dreaded. The lady dentist, Dr Pillay, administered the local anaesthetic painlessly and the procedure was done with quick, painless efficiency! Both Dr Pillay and Dr Asmall are very caring professionals and their chair-side manner is warm and reassuring. I have no hesitation in recommending both dentists in this practice. Their approach is modern and professional, their work simply outstanding.. and best of all- it REALLY doesn’t hurt!
