  Had a fantastic meal here with a group of 10. Interesting menu with some forgotten Free State options.

  Huge open area, like hustling all patrons into a sheep kraal, giving a table and telling me 'sit there'. My first visit, but my last. Put partinioning or something between the tables, so the tables are more private. Food were fine.

  Amazing experience. The Copper and Coal is immensely popular in the area(enough that you need a reservation to be allowed in) When you make an order, it is for a single food item. Everything on your plate is ordered separately: burger, chips, garnishes the whole deal... this probably prevents a lot of food waste as well. Service on a busy night (which is every night) can be slow, but affordable prices balance that out pretty quickly. All in all I'd say this place is a MUST

  Now this grill is simply the best in town....the vibe, ambiance, the food , the price, the whole shebang . You just can not go wrong here. The menu is cleverly set up so you can order what you want and not the other stuff other restaurant normally put on your plate to 'fill' it up. What we like about this grill ( other than the great experience and good food) is that there is no corkage fee...!!! So bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy. The staff and waiters are always smiling and in a good mood...that tells you they like working there...The whole vibe and atmosphere we had there every time were from another overseas country. Next time I'll post some pictures....They are kids friendly but no play area so the whole vibe stays on the family....You just simply can not go wrong here.....!!!

  Good food, good service, usually quite busy but the wait isn't too long. A pesonal experience was that the steaks were slightly overcooked but was sorted out. Overall it is an authentic meal that would shed light on our food to any outsider. Highly recommended. Decor is simple, but has a big impact. The colour scheme is interesting and definitely something appealing in both daylight and night time. A comfortable environment that is not too casual but also not black tie. The choice of menu items are well thought out. The servings are not oversized, and plated neatly. Various visits confirmed consistency. The variety of sides have inevitably resulted in me not trying the puddings yet. Further investigation will follow. Well deserved high ratings.
