::I love the Central Library. Filled with a large variety of books and online resources. The staff is great, but not necessarily all of them. The operating hours are very much accommodating. If you aren't originally Capetonian, it isn't an easy process getting a patrons card. Although getting the card does guarantee you great access to all resources from all CoCT libraries.

::Library building is fantastic old heritage, lot of books collection specially music, art etc, kids section is actively working.. but quite study area is not really quite lot of peoples talk inside & even out side admin also disturb the environment.. Air conditioned not working good as to much hot of above section and lower only just front of AC is better otherwise suffocated air.. light also no proper for reading... they should separate computer sections, which is in the center of study area... Electric connection for Lap top were very limited, I didn’t see library full with students or people during my stay for whole week... seems people come to chat here... as compare to London city library I couldn’t find place if I went late.. there is no coffee shop near by even to get boost your stamina.. or fresh up back.. lot of beggars walking out side the library.. not a good place for me... Library staff is very helping and friendly...best thing it’s open long time duration is whole Cape Town from 8am till 8pm...

::Awesome and well -organised. Wi-fi section needs to be ventilated. The air is always stale in there. Wi-fi could be faster and less glitchy. There's constantly a problem with the wifi at this library. Other than that it's awesome.

::Wicked library in an awesome old building. Great kids library. Lots of audio books. Small second hand bookshop as well.

::This is one of my favourite libraries that I love to visit when I'm in the area. It's spacious and has lots of computers to accommodate a wide range of people that would like to use the internet. There is a chess table which is usually occupied, meaning that it's quite popular. There is also a wide range of books, which I marvel at. I would sometimes sit on the floor and read besides the rack of books, it's quite relaxing. The staff is also lovely. The only problem is, the toilets are out of order. I was told to ask the security if it were okay to use the toilet ans was turned down and told to go to KFC but I instead used the Police Station's toilets.
