  I feel that the banking services are very good and quick. There's a young man at the reception who is just great. He's helpful, welcoming, friendly and has people skills. My problem at Capitec was the fact that I can't open an account because someone has already opened an account in my name and using my ID. I brought a Hanis report and an affidavit as requested and was supposed to come back in four weeks for the progress on my case. I came back after six weeks to find that their fraud department had not received any email with such. This is a serious issue. What if this person decides to take a loan and stops banking with them? They won't get their money from me thanks to one of their great innovation of fingerprints and photos on banking profiles.

  Consultant by name "Mpho" gave wrong info. This shows lack of product knowledge. When I asked the Branch Manager about this, she claims consultant was from a different branch. Which still doesn't make any difference. They must train their staff. The inconvenience the wrong info I got caused me is huge. Capitec sucks. I'm considering closing my account with them. Suck!!! Suck!!!!
