::On Tuesday the 26th of April my beloved 997 911 Carrera S left me stranded in the Cambridge Crossing parking lot. She drove in there just fine, but refused to start when I wanted to leave. A friendly jump start from my giggling wife (apparently rescuing your berk of a husband in his stranded Porsche is quite funny) and I was on my way again. But clearly there was an issue. A quick call to Cafe 9 confirmed that there is an issue and that I should bring the car in. With the following day been a public holiday and us going away on holiday on Thursday, we arranged to drop the car off first thing on Thursday morning. On arrival at Cafe 9 my car was booked in in a matter of minutes and the issue discussed with the guys. I was told they would look right into it and then call me when they had diagnosed the issue. True to their word I was barely home when I got a call from Cafe 9, explaining the issue and giving me a verbal quote on the work required and the cost. I agreed to the quote and arranged to collect my car on Tuesday morning. I could now go on holiday with the peace of mind that my Porsche would be all sorted when we returned. On Friday afternoon I received a call from Cafe to say the work was complete already! And all was well with my 911. During the phone call I also received my invoice, which I paid with pleasure. Tuesday morning and back to the grind of work and Joburg. First port of call Cafe 9 to collect my car. On arrival the guys were just putting the finishing touches on washing and vacuuming the car. A few minutes later we were on our way. The shiny newly fixed 911 been driven by my wife (apparently its cooler if girls drive them). Thanks to Cafe 9 for getting me motoring again, I will definitely be using you in the future for regular services as well as some nice to have bits. I just wanted to update this review. I just collected my car after having its clutch replaced and the IMS bearing changed with the upgraded unit. The difference the new clutch has made has transformed the car! Thanks again Cafe 9
