We had a mothers day high tea. My daughter spoiled me and my mum for the say. So stunning. Beautiful cakes. Tasted wonderful. They really treat you like a princess. Beautiful view and great staff

The epitome of high class, with long sweeping driveway and plush gardens. We popped over for the breakfast buffet. When I first saw the buffet I was slightly disappointed, but as I sampled from the selection I was able to fully appreciate its true depth and by the end of the meal was pleasantly surprised with how great the food and experience over all was. I look forward to returning for another great experience

Really top quality high tea, with delicious finger-foods and a wide variety of teas to choose from. This is NOT a cheap experience, but if you're feeling like a very classy afternoon and a taste of the finer things in life, this is an excellent idea. The hotel grounds are lovely for a stroll after tea, to help all those amazing desserts settle :)

Gorgeous looking hotel, and must try their afternoon tea. I was so impressed by the buffet concept, which I had never experienced anywhere before. The waiters are very nice and helpful. I have tried other afternoon teas in Cape Town but this is the best one. Well worth the money. Bookings necessary, either by phone or email. To the team,Keep up the excellent work!

I didn’t stay at what looks like a beautiful hotel. But I did have their famous afternoon tea. The grounds are impeccable and it has a great destination feel upon arrival. This is a tradition hotel that mimics the grand hotels in the U.K. Afternoon tea was served in a spacious ornate room with good lighting and traditional furniture. Staff were attentive and helpful and it’s a great way to pass a few hours with friends. Afternoon tea should not be rushed. The range of teas were excellent with some of South Africa’s good local teas as well as Asian teas. Great selection of cakes but I found the scones had an odd texture.
