::Staff aren't so helpful. Went to a consultant to hell me change my OTPs and give me some information about using my account whilst overseas.. Was not helpful at all and told me to call the credit card people on the phone, but I had no I idea why I was supposed to be calling them for. Anyway she then said I must go see the foreign exchange people, she said I must wait by the telephones and she'll go speak to the foreign exchange people and then come back to me, to take me to them for assistance.. She then walked back to her desk and sat down.. I then went to another branch that day, also a waste of time.. The following week without any progress, I went back to Hennopspark branch as I needed my OTPs to be changed as I won't be in the country. The lady said she changed the number as requested.. A week and a half later, I am buying something online and the OTP is being sent to my number and not the number I requested it to change to. So had I not done this and left the country already, I'd be stuck.. Thanks absa for your terrible service.

::I made an appointment for my smart Id... paid and confirmed booking ONLINE and made sure it was an available date and time... This morning when I went to the bank (after checking google to make sure they were open) only to find them closed.... this caused me to have to go to home affairs for a temp id... I've been here for 5 hours and counting.... Why couldn't someome just call the day before and told me you would be closed?

::Newly revamped branch, but the service is horrid. I cannot get into the branch with my double stroller. Clients are asked to convey a message to me outside that I cannot be assisted in that matter. I wonder how people in wheelchairs get into the branch. Secondly, I have to redo a form that your bank official did not fill in correctly, that is now after I had to give a second form because a mistake was made. This is costing me a baby sitter as well as a second drive to Sandton. Poorest service that I have ever received.
